What's new? Peter Fly Fishing?
Yes, it's true. Starting in 2002, dear friends of mine, Harold and Kathy
Hoffmann convinced me that it is time in my life to look at fly fishing and
take advantage of the fantastic opportunities to create great pictures. Now,
some test photos were taken - some were fantastic, others ranged from "OK" to,
well, lousy! Now the practice is over and the photography will start in earnest
later this year.
I have spent a couple months looking at fly fishing magazines like Fly Rod
& Reel (Harold's Favorite) and various books to see what pictures are
currently being taken, to marvel at some of the best photography the industry
has to offer, and to consider areas where I can make a positive improvement to
the photographic realm of Fly Fishing.
It is an exciting adventure for me, one that will last many years. Harold and I
have mapped out a lot of fishing, writing and photographic directions that we
hope to follow over the next decade. After 10 years, well, we'll cross THAT
bridge when we get there. Now, you may be wondering how I could make plans for
10 years like this? The answer is simple. I know and trust Harold & Kathy
enough to do it.
Our first project, currently being worked on, is a flyfishing book to teach
beginners and children how to fly fish. This book, "Get Hooked For Life" is
currently being written and the photographs being taken. Visit
www.ZacPublications.com if you are interested in purchasing a copy,
they will have it as soon as it is available for purchase.

heli-fishing with Icefield Helicopter Tours I
have flown with them and I highly recommend it. Some day I want to go on their
Coral lake trip. Check it out!
