Christmas in Canada, US and much of the rest of the world. And in

Our
"Christmas Season" booking options this year are: Dec 24th, afternoon. Dec
25th, afternoon and Dec 26th.
Why at Christmas?
I used to never book during the Christmas holidays so that my family could
concentrate on celebrating the birth of our Lord Christ Jesus without
"business" interruptions. But one customer pleaded in 1999 because they had
family from overseas in "Until Dec 25th in the evening" and they had other
family arriving early Christmas morning. It was the first time in several years
that the whole family was together. That same year, another customer had a
similar situation - but it was the afternoon of Christmas eve. After doing the
shoots I reflected that as Christmas is a common time for people to have family
get together I may be hurting some customers by refusing to work in this
season. I therefore modified my policy to allow for a limited number of
sessions to accomodate this valid need while still respecting the celebration
for my family. My kids get to decide how the family spends the session premium
- usually they decide on eating out at a favorite restaraunt. Note, I won't
accept sessions on ALL the dates above, when "too many" have been booked I will
have to stop accepting bookings for this year.
