are rated by rating organizations for short periods, many 10 years or less.

have been tested to have a 200+ year life expectancy under the same
conditions. Recently, due to the severe problems that Epson had with
their yellow ink, the international testing organizations only rate products up to 100 years. After
that they don't do ratings so currently the offical claim is 100+ years under
normal conditions.
