If this is your first time looking at a particular category, we recommend you choose "Small". Once there you can click to see any picture in a larger size, or you can come back and pick a larger format. Depending on your browser settings and the general speed of the internet and load on our server, you have a greater chance of red x's if you choose the Big size (not to mention, if you are on a telephone line, they will take a LONG time to download!)

Colour: Please note, that due to the internet, the fact these images are compressed and the differences and limitations in different monitors the colours may not be exactly what the final print will look like. Also, some images have a "color shift" toward purple or green. If you order reprints I normally will check and fix this before printing, but if you are ordering one and you feel it has a problem, please make a note of that with your order and I will make SURE I check. Joyti has (or will soon have) some colour proofs so you can see samples of the final product if you live in the Calgary area. If not, you can ask Joyti her opinion. (Or you can ask me - Peter Horwood aka Madman Pierre, the photographer - and I will give you my opinion.)

Resolution/Focus: Please realize that the resolution on these images is designed specifically for veiwing over the internet. If you order a print, I will be having them printed from the MUCH higer resolution images that I have. To put it in comparison, the images shown are 10 to 60K in size, but the images I print from are 32,000K in size. About 1000x's larger! BUT ... if you look at an image and say "Hmmm... that looks out of focus" - although I did try to check them all before posting, in going through 1700 images over the past 18 days I still probably missed a couple that aren't quite sharp enough. So again, you can make a note "print only if in focus" and I will verify before ordering your prints.

Ordering your own copies: If you decide you are interested in ordering some reprints of these, Joyti is collecting "orders" to be placed on October 15, 2004 along with her order. This will result in the lowest possible price for all concerned. To include yourself in this order, send an email on or before October 15, 2004 to jyotiandrajsphotos@hotmail.com stating the print number, and quantity of each size and any comments. Ie, you could order "2 - 8x10's of 1086.5604" After October 15: you will still be able to order reprints at the regular prices.

Order Numbers and "extra funny characters" are important: Note that the numbers on the pictures all start with "1086.", that identifies to me that the pictures are of Jyoti & Raj's wedding, the second number - 5604 - is a number assigned by the camera that lets me tell exactly which specific image you are asking for. A few of the images have a number like: "1086.0473Posterized" this means that I took image 473 and I did something special to it (Posterized it in this case.) If you leave off the word "Posterized" you will get a copy of the picture withOUT the special effect - in other words you will get the plain ordinary image 473. If you want the special effect, you need to state the full name 1086.0473Posterized so that I order the image with the special effects for you.

Prices of pictures ordered through Jyoti:
These prices include delivery to the Patel's house in Calgary. If you need shipments delivered via mail, please add $5 for within Canada and $10 international. This price is the same no matter how many you order/size per mailing address. (This means if you are from England and want to put an order together with someone else, that is fine.)  All prices are in CDN$
